What we do Information service Information Service Trafford CIL provides an information service, offering free information on all aspects of living with disabilities. We can help you to find accessible information about: • access and adaptations• benefits, welfare and financial support• personal budgets, brokerage services and telecare• local events, groups and classes• support groups and organisations• employment and training• rights, responsibilities and legal Issues Our information service is free to disabled residents, their parents and carers, and other organisations via telephone, email, text message, website, social media and outreach. If you have a query about any of our services, or would like any information relating to independent living, disability information or benefits issues in Trafford, simply contact our Information Officer. We host ‘Feedback Forum’ Events at our centre, enabling local disabled residents, workers, families and carers to get involved in discussions about key local and national disability issues. We are represented on the Trafford Disability Advisory Group. All of our information can be made available in a variety of accessible formats, including face-to-face, large print, easy read, braille and BSL as required.
