Walk description

This short circular route with its wide and well  maintained tarmac paths makes it a suitable destination to head to all year round.

There are plenty of benches for rest stops along the way plus a number of wheelchair accessible picnic benches. The park also houses an outdoor gym and several play areas.

In the park there is a bronze bust of Dr J P Joule, the famous physicist who lived nearby, and the park’s original bandstand.

Please note, this route was mapped in 2017 and changes within the park may have occurred since.

Walkers should be mindful that some routes may be prone to muddying in wetter weathers.
